The Deerfield Township Fire Chief has imposed a burning restriction on all large fires. No fire pile shall be over (4) feet high. Times for burning are between 4:00PM to 9:00PM Monday through Friday and 9:00AM to 9:00PM Saturday and Sunday. All fires under this permit shall be completely out by 9:00PM. To obtain a burning permit come into the hall and sign one.
NO burning of furniture, mattresses or box springs, tires and also no burning of materials like siding, roofing, tar paper, insulation or shingles is permitted.
DO NOT dump motor oil, oil paint, paint thinner or insecticides of any type.
Failure to obtain a burn permit could result is a $100.00 fine.
